SSC (staff selection Commission) India notified much awaited Combined Graduate Level Examination 2017 with the message in the top “Government strives to have a workforce which reflects gender balance and women candidates are encouraged to apply”. SSC combined graduate level examination 2017 tier –I (preliminary) will be held on 01.08.2017 and 20.08.2017 for selecting candidates for tier –II for filling up of the following listed different categories of posts under various departments and Ministries under Government of India.
I Pay Band-II Rs. 9300 – 34800 (pre-revised)
1. Assistant Audit Officer in Indian Audit & Accounts Department under CAG, Group B Gazetted Rs. 4800-GP
2. Assistant Accounts Officer in Indian Audit & Accounts Department under CAG, Group B Gazetted Rs. 4800-GP
3. Assistant Section Officer in Central Secretariat Services, Group B, Rs. 4600-GP
4. Assistant Section Officer in Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Railways, Ministry of External Affairs, AFHQ, Other Ministries, Departments/Organisations Group B, Rs. 4600-GP.
5. Assistants in other Ministries/Departments/Organisations Group B, Rs. 4600-GP
6. Assistants/ Superintendent in other Ministries /Departments /Organisations Group B, Rs. 4200-GP
7. Inspector of Income Tax, Inspector of Central Excise and Inspector (Preventive ), Inspector (Examiner), Inspector of Post, Sub-Inspector (CBI), Inspector (National Bureau of Narcotics ) Group B, Rs. 4600-GP
8. Divisional Accountant(under CAG), Sub-Inspector (National Investigation Agency), Junior Statistical Officer Group B, Rs. 4200-GP
II Pay band I Rs. 5200 – 20200 (pre-revised)
1. Auditor (CAG), Auditor (CGDA), Auditor (other Departments/Organisations), Accountant/Junior Accountants (under CAG, other Departments/Ministries/Organisations), Group C and Rs. 2800 Grade Pay.
2. UDC/Senior Secretariat Assistant, Tax Assistants (CBEC & CBDT), Sub-Inspector (Central Bureau of Narcotics ) in Group C and Grade pay of Rs. 2400.
Age limit for applying the above posts varied with different posts from 18 years to 32 years and age relaxations is there as per the government Rules.
Qualification require is any graduates from any of the Government recognized University or Organisation.
The last date for applying online is 16.06.2017.

The examination fee is Rs. 100 /- (No fee for women candidates, SC/ST/PWDEx-Servicemen).
Date of Tier –I Computer Based Examination is 01.08.2017 and 20.08.2017
Date of Tier –II computer Based Examination is 10.11.2017 and 11.11.2017
Date of Tier –III Descriptive Type Question is 21.01.2018
Date of Tier –IV (Skill Test ) is during Feb, 2018.
Scheme of Examination is as follows:-
1. Tier –I is computer-based Examination
2. Tier-II is Computer-based Examination
3. Tier –III is pen and paper mode (Descriptive Paper)
4. Tier –IV is computer proficiency test (wherever required)/ Document verification.
Details of Scheme of Examination
Tier –I Computer Based Examination
It’s 60 minutes test, consisting 100 questions for 200 marks comprising 25 questions on General Intelligence Reasoning, 25 questions on General Awareness, 25 Questions on Quantitative Aptitude, 25 questions on English Comprehension with negative marking system.
Tier –II Computer Based Examination
It’s 120 minutes duration test consisting of 500 questions for 800 marks in total with negative marking system.
